On the contrary to hydraulic torque wrenches the hydraulic bolt tensioners enable initial tensioning of bolts/studs without application any torque since the tensioning force is applied in line with the central line of the bolt/stud usually towards the expanding direction. Therefore the pre-tensioning force of bolts is independent on the friction coefficient. The bolt tensioners are actuated by means of a hand pump or electric pump or pneumatic pump with the output pressure of 800 or 1600 bars depending on the unit version. Optional and customized designs of the bolts tensioners with various values of pre-tensioning force, size and application procedures are available upon individual orders.
Typ ZEK®
An electric torque wrench is a combination of a planetary transmission with an intermediate transmission and an electric drive. The drive incorporates an electric motor and an electronic control circuit. Adjustment of the tool with setting the desired torque is enabled by the torque controller.
